Return of the Foot Falcon.

 It has been a while since I commuted between work and home in the Foot Falcon.  The evolving nature of my training schedule toward the pointy end of marathon training and increasing morning daylight (so I can run on Dry Creek before work) have been the main reasons, but there are others.  Last night I left the car at work and set off home in the Foot Falcon.  It was a bit of a grey run at 6min/k, which was probably not the best thing to do, maintenance wise, following on from the hard 4.3k run on Wednesday and it made the longer run to work over Mcintyre hill this morning quite trying.Looking back through the year so far it is quite pleasing to see a more consistent year of training than last year and some great improvements.  In fact I think every race bar the first Corporate Cup (not like I was trying to run fast in that anyway) resulted in a PB.

Looking forward for the rest of the year, I think a C2B PB is a given, and I will probably try for another 10k PB thanks to all the speed work from CC.  I hope to get my CC Time knocked down by another 50secs to go under 20mins.

Off to AAMI stadium tonight to see the Eagles overcome those chokers Port Adelaide by 23 points.

  2. They’re only up by 11 points in the 2nd quarter.

    Keep using the foot falcon and you’ll give the fifty minute 10k barrier a scare.

    Does it use basic undleaded or do you need to feed it premium?
